They live their philosophy and adore being with all their guests - young and old. You might even come across Erika gathering plump chestnuts with her children, or baking proper farmhouse bread for you to enjoy, and parents head with Hermann to take a look at the variety-filled wine store, or share some insider sports tips during lovely chats. That too is part of the Thurnerhof's natural concept. Cosy up in your bathing robe, identify the autumn flowers, experience the Thurnerhof adventure playground, enjoy a swim in the Infinity pool and sample mountain spring water from our own source. Erika and Hermann have two sons together, Moritz who is 7 years old and Xaver who is 3, and they have created a place where children feel happy and where parents can come to and want to stay for a while.

Where else can children enjoy a 600 m2 adventure play area set in the middle of natural surroundings, listen to the roar of stags, run across the Thurnerhof's pastures, count sheep and climb, slide and run about. While parents sit on the terrace beneath the maple tree, sampling some home-made plum cake, as they keep an eye on their children playing. Where else do children get to gobble up pumpkin gnocchi and enjoy a children's menu which has meals to suit every tummy. While parents are impressed by the culinary sophistication, red wine recommended by Hermann and autumn dishes created by our Head Chef, including beetroot dumplings served with Gorgonzola.
