The official start of the season in Saalbach is getting ever closer. While we are in the middle of preparing perfect holidays at the Thurnerhof, there is also plenty of work being done at the cable cars, Alpine lodges, on the mountain and in the valley. Everything will get started in just a few weeks – we are so delighted that we will be able to welcome back again soon!

The scheduled operational hours for the cable cars are as follows:
01.12.2023 to 07.12.2023: ski operations in Schönleiten, Asitz, Zwölferkogel and Fieberbrunn
08.12.2023 to 01.04.2024: complete ski offers available in Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn

We are happy to provide you with information here about the latest opening hours for Alpine lodges and restaurants. These generally fit in the operational times of cable cars in the area.

Along with the official start to the ski season in 2023/2024, there are popular events that make this time of the year really special. The following dates are already set:
BERGFESTival: 08.–10. December 2023 - THE Rock festival in the Alps!
Rave on Snow: 14.–17. December 2023 - At the 28th Rave on Snow, the mountain and the valley are transformed into a cool dance floor!

Family fun at the Thurnerhof – the perfect location for unforgettable holidays
The Thurnerhof is located in Saalbach, nestling in a wonderfully snowy landscape, with views to the surrounding mountains. Perfect for enjoying a tranquil and relaxing holiday. In spite of that, the routes are short, so you can get to the most popular cable cars and the centre of town easily on foot, or on the morning hotel shuttle service. When snow conditions are good, head back via the hotel’s own ski route which leads you right to the hotel doorstep. Fantastic – relaxing – pleasure-filled. Just as it ought to be. Even from the first day of the ski season.
